Macworld 2009: 'Even the Small Talk will be Big' - Part 1

Macworld Conference and Expo is a trade show organized yearly by IDG. This event is dedicated to the Mac platform and all related products from other vendors. This year's event runs from January 5-9, 2009 held at The Moscone Center, San Francisco, California.

A lot of speculation surrounds this year's expo due to the following reasons:

• Apple has announced that this will be the last time in which the company will participate. According to a company's press statement, trade shows have become a minor part in the Apple's marketing campaign to reach more customers.

• Steve Jobs will not be attending to host the keynote address, as has been the custom for the past 10 years. Instead, Philip Schiller, Senior VP of Product Marketing will deliver the opening keynote. Jobs underwent a pancreatic cancer surgery last 2004.
